 Shows are a great place to meet and compete against other breeders and to see what those other breeders are achieving in their programs. Many Suri breeders will talk openly with you about genetics, hints for working the farm and what they have learned along the way. Shows are also a great way to get away from home for a short while and have fun with family and friends!

Versatility of color is another factor to consider – Suris produce 16+ different natural colors, but can also take a dye or an overdye beautifully. Suri fiber can be wonderfully fine, but is highly rated for tensile strength, making it a great option for warp thread and for high abrasion end products. The fiber once reserved for royalty is making a comeback.
